Incredible food!!! So very fresh and full of flavour. We ordered the sea snail salad, clams, oysters and razor clams. Absolutely phenomenal. If we didn’t have to leave the next day I would have gone back and ordered again. Tip: make sure you have cash as they do not have card facilities which seems to be the norm around the area.

Great surprise and excellent experience! The day before, we had been so disappointed when we went to O Rondinhas, but in contrast, the Marisqueira Modesto was exactly what we wanted! Excellent food, the service was great (attentive and funny server, didn't try to sell us anything extra "just because we are tourists"...), dishes arrived quickly and were very tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Cheaper than the other restaurants arround too!! We will go back again for sure before the end of our stay in Sesimbra. I highly recommend this place

Spent a week in Sesimbra and we had to come here twice. Two words people: Açorda de Sapateira!!!! The prawn açorda is great as well. One of the best I’ve had Can’t miss the bulhao pato clams either. Reservation is advised. For my troupe, the best seafood restaurant in Sesimbra!!!

Ate here twice during our trip. Fantastic seafood restaurant. Huge servings of delicious crab, lobster, tiger prawns, and scallops were eaten over our two trips. Seems to be a favourite amongst locals so one needs to book ahead as it’s seemingly always full. Staff very friendly.
